Kate St. Vincent Vogl

Kate St. Vincent Vogl is the author of Lost & Found: A Memoir of Mothers, which was featured on national ABC news. The Akron Beacon Journal named her book among the best of the year. Her essays appear in best-selling anthologies such as Listen to Your Mother and Why We Ride. She received a 2017 Artist’s Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board for her novel-in-progress and has been honored with a residency at the Anderson Center. She teaches at the nationally acclaimed Loft Literary Center. 

Vogl provides editing services for both fiction and memoir. Her clients have been published, have won grants and residencies, and have been recognized in contests, including those named as finalist for the Minnesota Book Award, the Midwest Book Award, and Brevity’s essay contest. Kate Hopper


Kate Hopper is the founder of Motherhood & Words, author of Use Your Words: A Writing Guide for Mothers, Ready for Air: A Journey Through Premature Motherhood, and co-author of Silent Running, a memoir of one family’s journey with autism and running. Her writing has appeared in numerous journals, including Brevity, Los Angeles Review of Books, New York Times online, Poets & Writers, and River Teeth. She is an editor and writing coach and teaches in Ashland University’s Low-residency MFA program, at the Loft Literary Center and ModernWell, and online.
